All units are self-catering, featuring either full-sized kitchens or kitchenettes - and yes, each unit comes with its own braai facilities. Gourikwa offers 3 types of self-catering accommodation:
Coastal Cottages, Fisherman's Houses and Village Suites.
Coastal
Cottages.
The Coastal Cottages are all located less than 100 metres from the shore break, making every morning an unforgettable experience. There are a total of six charming Coastal Cottages, each fully equipped with a kitchen, built-in braai, and spacious rooms. Five of the cottages have double rooms that sleep 4 people, while one unit accommodates 2 guests. All rooms have their own bathrooms, and all linen and towels are provided. Wi-Fi and OpenView are available in each cottage.
Fisherman's
Houses.
The 9 Fisherman's Houses are all freestanding units spread out along the coast, offering spectacular views of the shoreline and the lighthouse. 8 units sleep 4 people, and 1 unit sleeps 6. These houses are more rustic than the Cottages, yet each has its own unique character. All units feature a fully equipped kitchenette, a cozy indoor fireplace, and a spacious patio with a built-in braai facing the sea. All linen and towels are provided. Wi-Fi is available in each unit.
Village Suites.
The Village Suites are ideal for families or larger groups staying together. The 15 available Village Suites are situated within the fynbos, slightly more inland compared to the Coastal Cottages. Each unit is equipped with an outdoor sea-facing braai, kitchenette, king or twin beds, a sleeper couch, and a patio. Every suite has its own bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Wi-Fi and OpenView channels are provided in each unit.
In addition to the Village Suites, we have 5 Village Houses, each consisting of four self-catering units. These houses are perfect for groups, accommodating between 8 and 14 guests. Each unit features its own kitchen, bathroom, patio, and built-in braai. While the layout of each unit varies, the overall look and feel remain consistent.
